Welcome to Hart ROP!

The Hart District Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is a public education service that provides practical on-the-job training and career guidance to students in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Students must be 16 years of age or older or a junior in high school. Priority enrollment is given to seniors. Adults may enroll in classes on a space-available basis.

Students may enroll in ROP for any of the following reasons:

  • To learn entry-level employment skills
  • Prepare for career advancement by upgrading existing job skills
  • To prepare for advanced training programs
  • Retrain for a new career

ROP Registration

Register for ROP courses by contacting the ROP Advisor at your high school. Adults and students over 16 who are not attending Hart District Schools contact the Advisor where the course is offered (see Advisor Contact Info page).
