ROP Career Internship Course:
Course Description: ROP Career Internship students complete an unpaid, workplace internship to learn about a career field and to prepare for future employment and education. The class runs 16 weeks during the Fall and Spring, and 6 weeks in the summer. After receiving training in class, students work at their internship site during the week while attending class every Monday. The Internship Class Coordinator finds the internship placements. Students will earn a letter grade and elective credit on their transcripts. Students provide their own transportation to class and to their internship site.
