Welcome to Hart ROP!

The Hart District Regional Occupational Program (ROP) is a public education service that provides practical on-the-job training and career guidance to students in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Students must be 16 years of age or older or a junior in high school. Priority enrollment is given to seniors. Adults may enroll in classes on a space-available basis.

ROP benefits include, but not limited to:

  • Courses in a variety of occupations
  • Unpaid Internships
  • College and A-G Credits for some courses
  • Certificate of Completion documenting competencies

ROP Registration

Register for ROP courses by contacting the ROP Specialist at your high school. Adults and students over 16 who are not attending Hart District Schools contact the Specialist where the course is offered (see Specialist Contact Info page).
